I’m Marie Holečková, a freelance graphic designer with a passion for typography and visual communication.
I specialize in creating graphic content for various clients, regularly collaborating with the 420People dance studio on projects such as programs, posters for dance premieres, and social media and website content.
One of my significant projects was developing the complete visual identity for Czech Design Week in 2021.
Previously, I worked as a graphic designer at the University of Creative Communication and as a Project/Account Manager at the advertising agency Kreativní Kancl. I also have experience in a smaller video production company, Loony Creators, where I occasionally assist with directing and video production.
Graphic design is not just my profession but also my passion. I hold a Master's degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communication from the Faculty of Design and Art at Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Art and Design in Pilsen, where I studied under the guidance of Professor Rostislav Vaněk and Associate Professor Kristína Fišerová.
I work daily with Adobe tools, primarily InDesign and Illustrator. Currently, I am exploring 3D graphics using Blender and Nomad Sculpt to add a new dimension to my work. I also enjoy digital drawing in Procreate and, in my free time, focus on creating my own fonts.
My skills include:
Advanced proficiency in DTP (Desktop Publishing)
Adobe Creative Suite as primary tools
Experience in project management, client communication, and time management
Successful execution of larger-scale projects
Strong foundation in typography and layout design
My goal is to create visually compelling and functional designs that not only capture attention but also communicate a clear message.
